Today, we mark the anniversary of a historic milestone for the Métis Nation of Ontario.
On February 23, 2023, the MNO and the Government of Canada signed the updated Métis Self-Government Recognition and Implementation Agreement—formally recognizing the MNO as the Indigenous government representing Métis communities in Ontario.
